Today on the podcast I’m taking it back to the beginning. 🤓
AKA when my little company first began! I wanted to share the
journey because I’ve been in a few conversations recently about how
lucky I am to where my business is now, that I’m able to work from
home, have a team, etc.
But trust me...it wasn’t always easy (still isn’t), and there were
quite a few sacrifices that had to be made in the very beginning.
For example, when I decided I wanted to build a business on the
side...I was working as a full-time Marketing Manager with a brand
new baby. 😅 Ive always had the entrepreneurial spirit, but having
Theo made me realize how much I longed to be able to still work
(cus let’s be honest...I love what I do) but have a little more
freedom than a 9-5 provides.
So my journey began...as I started to sign on clients, I had to
work around my day job. I would work on my projects during my lunch
breaks, at night after Theo went to sleep, and during the weekends.
Sounds crazy...like who would put themselves through that...but I
loved it. I kept the end goal in mind every day.
And in the end, it paid off BIG TIME.
